International Curriculum,Specialisation Program will start this year.
DU : Delhi University this year will prepare students for cyber security.Delhi University has prepared a special program for Cyber Security and Law and officials said that this practical-based program will be launched this year. DU says that this countrywide this would be the first one-year expertise program.In this course students for every aspects cyber security and hacking.
In PG Diploma This Year DU : Cyber Security and Laws, are set to launch in post graduate program. DU vice chancellor Yohgesh Tyagi said that this is a special project and it is different from the rest academic programs.We want students to be cyber security expert to work on national-international level.This specialisation program will focus on practical work.
Two Semester,Entrance Based Admission : One of the officials handling the project said that Curriculum is ready with the help of national and international experts is ready. After receiving approval,notification will be issued. Admission will be through national level entrance exam,which will be held in April or May.It will be a one-year course,admission will be on 200 seats.Graduate in any stream with passion in this field,students will be able to apply.According to the fees structure,fees per semester will be between 18 to 20 thousand.
70% Practical : The program will be 70% practical.Each student will receive a laptop equipped the software related to cyber security. Cyber experts and professionals in Bharat are just one per cent and huge in demand in international market.
DU professors said that "We have therefore designed the course so that the high-level cyber professionals and technical experts from the University yielded".
Theory will focus on Cyber Law and Cyber Crime and In practical hacking and cyber security will be told about so many angles so that they could recognize any threat in the online system of any bank,hotel,M.N.C and any government office.
Placements: The program is developed jointly by 12-15 cyber experts and IT professionals,has taken care of the International Curriculum in the program.This year will be the visiting faculty, in which they will be accompanied by experts and professors of the University.DU is also planning to bring experts from US and UK.Both semesters will have one exam. The semester will have a 20-hour lab exam,in which the student must find out hacking.The University will partner with an international laboratory for the testing and companies will also give a certificate to the passing students.Passing this test will be required to pass through a postgraduate.University officials said we have started talking to companies for placements,We have been aware that the average package will be between 6 to 9 million.
